Tony Larking  Writing songs about my life experiences & observations of the world. Collaborating with artists & musicians, to create opportunities and promote good causes.

Having been associated with the music industry for most of my working life supplying professional sound recording equipment to musicians & studios around the world, in recent years I discovered a love of song writing and pleasantly surprised to find myself working with exceptionally talented & accomplished artists & musicians.

We have already recorded 20 songs inspired by my life experiences & world events, named after my home city in the UK.  The project is called "St. Albans Funk"  with music planned for release this year. The songs and the stories around them are a stage show that has been performed at St. Albans Arena and is planned to be made into a full length feature film.

Working with so many great people who have become close friends has inspired me to launch Big Music Family to collaborate on my songs with music friends around the world, to unite people and create opportunities.  The first planned release by Big Music Family is a song that I've written to promote mental health awareness called "Nobody Knows Me"  This is my first ever song to be released, a proud moment for me. I am very grateful for the support of everyone involved.

With Big Music Family I'm planning to release songs throughout the coming years in addition to songs from St. Albans Funk project.  I'm also planning to bring people together working on animation, live shows & film.

Songs that I have written & recorded with friends, ready for release cover the subjects of War, Homelessness, Crisis, Racism, Loneliness, Grenfell, Family, Empowerment & Love. The first release from St. Albans Funk is about war, it's called Hell Is Empty (what about the children) planned release 22nd March. I intend to use my songs to help promote charities & worthy causes relating to the subject matter of the songs.

It's going to be a busy time, in a good way. Collaborating with friends helps keep costs down but there are still considerable costs involved in recording, producing shows, video & film. Please help our projects and support our crowdfunding if you can.
